Sales Specialist - Remote - Americas 


Hi! We’re, a global Open Source Managed Service Provider with a fully remote team spanning Asia Pacific, Americas, and EMEA time zones. We manage hosting services for our clients worldwide, and our mission is to be the foremost open web hosting company providing technical advice, support, and a platform that is scalable, reliable, flexible and secure, built collaboratively with our customers. 

We’re looking for a Sales Specialist with a passion for web technology and cloud-based solutions. This role is responsible for outbound prospecting of new clients and opportunities, researching your market and taking a targeted and consultative approach to lead generation. You’ll be the first touchpoint the lead has with, and once qualified as an opportunity, you’ll be working on the opportunity together with the Sales Engineers/Solution Architect, supporting the team post qualification, on a technical and commercial proposal.


Together with the rest of the Sales team, you will ensure a healthy pipeline and revenue stream, and will actively contribute and have a voice in improving processes, pitches and sales collateral. You’ll be working within an international team that’s fully remote and has customers located around the world.

What you’ll do:

  • Outbound outreach to new prospects. Ensuring we have a pipeline of opportunities qualifying them, and funneling prospects to Sales Engineers 
  • Undertaking targeted, well researched prospecting of new clients. No shotgun approach, no spamming, just well researched, targeted outreach. 
  • Pitching the value proposition of to prospects via Zoom, Linkedin, and other remote channels 
  • Qualify and progress leads to opportunities, handing these to our Sales engineers for them to conduct demos and technical proposals 
  • Putting together sales paperwork and documentation
  • Work actively with the sales team to continuously improve processes, sales collaterals, and pitches.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in an active Sales, Business Development role, ideally within Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or custom software development companies.
  • Ability to communicate with decision makers at all levels of the organization.
  • You avoid the hard sell method of sales. You let the tech, and an honest, consultative approach do the selling. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Comfort communicating and documenting in English
